Fly-In Highlights Challenges and Underlines Industry Achievements
The National Environmental Banking Association's Annual DC Fly-In provided significant support and understanding bridging industry and government. Meetings with the leadership of all the pertinent regulatory agencies and U.S. Congressional committees yielded consistent progress and strong support to the high-quality standards of Mitigation and Conservation Banking.
NEBA is delighted to have our annual DC Fly-In as an in-person event after going virtual during the pandemic. We would especially like to thank all the agency officials and Congressional leaders who made the 2023 Fly-In a success.

Government officials are a growing segment of NEBA's membership across the U.S. - from agencies both federal and state - and working with the agencies to help deliver compliance for unavoidable impacts to streams, wetlands and species habitats has long been hallmark of NEBA.
NEBA has worked diligently to be a fair and clear voice for the mitigation industry. The success of the DC Fly-in demonstrates that the hard work is being noticed and appreciated. NEBA was welcomed and encouraged to continue its efforts by everyone we met at the DC Fly-in.

Reception Dinner
Members and invited guests attending enjoyed a private reception and dinner at the prestigious Army and Navy Club of Washington. NEBA Board Chair, John Paul Woodley, thanked the many in attendance remarking on the importance of the Association's continuing work as the industry's trusted voice.
