Conversations on Science, Policy, and Practice for Species At Risk

Dr. Douglas Bruggeman of Ecological Services and Markets will be hosting monthly conversations to support the science, policy, and practice of tradable credits for at-risk species.  The intention of this series is to create an open community to discuss successes and barriers.  The hope is that by shinning a brighter light on species markets, there will be new markets created and existing markets will be strengthened.

The first of these sessions is currently scheduled and the selection committee is looking for additional 20 minute presentations.

The challenges of species crediting are diverse, and we welcome a diversity of topics.  For example: What makes your approach/partnership effective? What makes an effective IRT? What practical challenges are you seeing in your market? What science or policy changes are needed? What innovative science, policy or practices are you employing?  We will explore the most relevant threads as they emerge from the community.
