- Implementation of the wetlands mitigation rule and the ESA mitigation policy to promote the U.S. Congressional goal of “maximizing the use of environmental bank credits”;
- Habitat markets and use of conservation banks;
- Better relations with key governmental regulatory agencies and decision makers in support of habitat markets and private sector solutions to complex environmental issues;
- Opportunities to work with other landowner and business groups committed to promoting regulatory reform and safeguards while conserving our nation’s important natural resources;
- Educating the next generation of conservation stewards by promoting scholarships, internships, hands-on training and tours of mitigation banks and projects;
- Private sector solutions and involvement in implementing environmental and habitat conservation in a manner that supports economic growth; and
- Efforts and activities with regional and state habitat banking and restoration associations.
