US Fish and Wildlife Head Departs After Stirring Fears on Species Law

Following controversial efforts to roll-back protections around Endangered Species, the US Fish and Wildlife Service boss is stepping down according to agency statements made yesterday.  Greg Sheehan will leave the agency next week to return to his family and home in Utah, spokesman Gavin Shire said. He has led the service since last June as the senior political official appointed under President Donald Trump in a newly-created deputy director position.
