NEBA has an ongoing mission of providing education in a variety of settings to raise public awareness of the quality and success of the environmental banking program. Each time a bank is utilized, environmental values are transferred from an unprotected site to a protected site with performance standards and long-term management in place.
The banking industry is creating an ever-growing volume of permanently-protected, high quality habitats that are a great resource for visitors or students to see wildlife they would never otherwise see.
