These Credits can be used for Section 404-401 and stormwater project impacts throughout the upper Tar-Pamlico watershed (HUC #03020101). This restoration and enhancement work was identified by the NCWRC’s Wildlife Action Plan as a priority for aquatic and riparian habitat protection. Within six months after restoration rare purple milkweed has returned. This is a new record for Person County!
