Member News – Tar River Headwaters Mitigation Bank

National Environmental Banking Association Member Mogensen Mitigation, Inc. is now offering Stream, Riparian Buffer, and Nutrient Offset (N and P) Mitigation Credits at MMI's Tar River Headwaters Mitigation Banks. These Credits can be used for Section 404-401 and stormwater project impacts throughout the upper Tar-Pamlico watershed (HUC #03020101). This restoration and enhancement work was identified by the NCWRC’s Wildlife Action Plan as a priority for aquatic and riparian habitat protection.  Within six months after restoration rare purple milkweed has returned.
