2024 Annual D.C. Fly-In – Engaging with Agencies, Officials, and Others on Behalf of Our Industry

More than two decades ago, the mitigation banking industry began its annual DC Fly-in. That continuing event, FREE to NEBA members, is your chance to sit with senior U.S. officials from regulatory, congress, and beyond, to discuss the latest issues and find effective solutions for the mitigation industry.

For those in the environmental banking industry, you understand the importance of our continued engagement with agencies, officials and others on behalf of our little-known and sometimes misunderstood industry.  This is value being delivered year-round to  NEBA's membership nationwide.  As you know, We are Stronger Together - so Please Plan to Join Us in our Nation’s Capital September 4 - 6!

This year’s 3-day agenda is filling up and as always, will include meetings will key agency and congressional representatives, several opportunities for networking and even a FREE MEMBER DINNER at the distinguished Army and Navy Club of Washington hosted by the former Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) Hon John Paul Woodley, Chair of NEBA’s Board of Directors.

Environmental Banking is the only program proven to work, proven to provide reliable, cost-effective environmental offset for unavoidable impacts to our vital natural resources. Clear guidance, policy and law support our work and our industry. Unfortunately, threats today come not only from regulatory non-compliance, or regulator inconsistency, or permit slow-downs, but from some within the mitigation industry who wrongly claim to represent us in discussions with policymakers. That is why we must speak with one voice – One Trusted Voice – for the Mitigation Banking Industry.

Annual Association's Meeting

Our Association's Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2024 during the DC Fly-In. Members will be voting on the 2024-2026 Board of Directors. Remember that only REGULAR, voting members are eligible to cast their vote during the meeting.
